Obstract Objective To explore the clinical elfect of compound Congrong Yizhi capsule combined with repetitiveAbstracttranscranial magnetic stimulation ( rTMS ) in the treatment of patients with vascular cognitive impairment of nondementia( VClND ). Methods 92 patients with VClNl were selected as the study subjects and divided into a controlgroup and an observation group according to the random number table method, with 46 cases in each group. Thecontrol group were received conventional drug combined with rTMS treatment, while the observation group werereceived compound Congrong Yizhi capsule combined with conventional drug and rTMS. The treatment efects of thetwo groups were compared after 4 weeks of treatment. Changes in cognitive funetion and activities of daily living wereobserved before and after 4 weeks of treatment in both groups. The differenees in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups during treatment were analyzed. Results After 4 weeks of treatment, the treatment elffect ofthe observation group was superior to that of the control group, showing a statistically significart difference ( P<0.05 ). The scores of Mini-Mental State Examination( MMSE ), Montreal Cognitive Assessment( MoCA), and BarthelIndex( BI) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group ( P<0.05 ). There was no significantdifference in the ineidenee of adverse reaetions between the two groups( P>0.05 ). Conclusion Compound CongrongYizhi capsule combined with r'TMS can effectively improve cognitive dysfunction in patients with VCIND, enhaneeactivities of daily living, and have good safety.
